KUTTO SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

1.    Insert the knife blade into the carton making sure that the knife handle is slightly tilted downward to prevent cutting into the merchandise inside.

2.    Hold the carton at an angle so that the cutter will not be moving towards you.  Put your other hand on the opposite side of the carton.  Do not cut towards opposite hand or arm.  Make a smooth cut and turn the carton for each side.

3.    Always use sharp blades.  Dull blades require more pressure and increase the risk of injury.

4.    Do not use KuttOs if you are drowsy or taking medication that makes you drowsy.  Do not use if you are intoxicated.

5.    Retract the blade when not in use and store in a safe place.

KUTTO JUNIOR BLADE CHANGE INSTRUCTIONS

The KuttO Junior knife is in one piece which makes it safer to change blades, however, be careful how you handle the blades.  They are sharp.

1.                Always hold the sharp blade edge away from you.

2.                Unscrew the blade and carefully remove it.  Don’t touch the sharp edge of the blade and hold it away from you.

3.                Carefully open the pack of replacement blades.  Don’t touch the sharp edge of the blade and hold it away from you while inserting it in the knife.  Screw the blade back in place and adjust the blade for use.

4.                Always retract the knife blade when you are finished using the knife.  Do not store the knife in your pocket unless the blade is fully retracted.
